Aaron Ramsey Injury: Updates on Arsenal Star's Hamstring and Return

Aaron Ramsey has been robbed of the chance to build on his wonder goal at Galatasaray, struck down by a hamstring injury that has left him on the sidelines.

Continue for updates.Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey is having a disappointing 2014-15 season, and things reportedly took a turn for the worse on Thursday, as the Welshman will need a scan on a hamstring injury, according to manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger talked about Ramsey's issues, according to Arsenal's official website: "Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) will be checked today and tomorrow, so we’ll see."

The talented midfielder had a phenomenal 2013-14 campaign that saw him establish himself as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League, but his form has abandoned him in the new campaign, and the Gunners have struggled as a result.

Wenger has already called out the 23-year-old for his performances, as reported by BBC Sport. While Ramsey is facing criticism for his lack of scoring this season, Wenger claimed it goes well beyond that: "It's not about goal-scoring. Goal-scoring is a consequence of playing well first so focus on playing well. You have to keep your priorities right as a midfielder, defend well and attack well and give good goals to the other players."
