Seth Rollins is heading for a major showdown with John Cena at WWE's TLC event on Sunday, December 14. The former Shield founder has had heat with the company's top guy for several months, and that heat has led to their TLC confrontation, which will be a tables match.
While many of Rollins' fans are likely excited to see how their favorite will do on December 14, the fact is that it may all be for nothing.
That's because regardless of whether or not he wins the match, facing Cena could very well be a losing proposition for Rollins.
It's a notion that many surely do not want to hear. After all, Rollins has come a long way since his days in The Shield. He went from being the architect of WWE's most dominant faction of all time to being considered a real player in Vince McMahon's company.
Of course, when he was running high with The Hounds of Destruction, no one really seemed to know where he would eventually land. The only certainty was that all three men definitely had a bright future ahead.
