WWE star Kevin Nash was arrested Wednesday following a domestic incident that allegedly involved him fighting his 18-year-old son Tristen, according to Volusia County (search required) corrections records in Florida. TMZ Sports originally reported his arrest:Nash, 55, was arrested in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve after police arrived on the scene and saw the former WWE champion had been bloodied following a fight. He was arrested but has yet to be formally charged with a crime.
Tristen, Nash's only son, was arrested on battery charges after allegedly attacking his mother. Details about the case are still being uncovered as police investigate, but the TMZ report indicated alcohol "may have been a factor." He was a five-time WCW world heavyweight champion and nine-time tag team champion, six of which came with longtime partner Scott Hall. He won the WWE Championship once and was twice a tag team titleholder with Shawn Michaels.
Since rejoining WWE in 2011 on a legends contract, Nash has largely done sporadic promotional appearances along with the occasional in-ring action. His most recent active wrestling appearance came as a surprise entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble.
Nash, Hall and Hulk Hogan are scheduled to appear on the Jan. 19 edition of Raw in Dallas for a possible NWO reunion, according to the American Airlines Center website (h/t Cageside Seats). WWE has not issued a statement on Nash's arrest or indicated whether the reunion will go on as planned.
