NFLPA Taking Adrian Peterson Case to Federal Court, Troy Vincent Convo Leaks


The NFL Players Association has filed a motion to overturn the decision to deny the appeal of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's year-long suspension.

The NFLPA made the announcement Monday, with ESPN's Chris Mortensen reporting the court's location:Along with the announcement from the NFLPA, a conversation with NFL executive vice president of operations Troy Vincent has surfaced. After several attempts to get Peterson back on the field, the NFLPA will work yet again to get one of the best running backs in the league back in the fold.

The future already looks unclear for Peterson, who told ESPN.com's Ben Goessling that he has even considered retiring from the NFL entirely. He has since said he will return to the field, per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, but it's clear the situation has taken a toll on the running back.
