After several attempts to get Peterson back on the field, the NFLPA will work yet again to get one of the best running backs in the league back in the fold.

The future already looks unclear for Peterson, who told ESPN.com's Ben Goessling that he has even considered retiring from the NFL entirely. He has since said he will return to the field, per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, but it's clear the situation has taken a toll on the running back.
