Familiar names held WWE's championships, but new names sat on the marquee in 2014.The spotlight hit Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Rusev and Roman Reigns as the company searched for its next megastar. That search will continue in 2015 as that crop of emerging talent battles on the mountaintop with established names like Randy Orton and John Cena.
It was a year of transition into a new generation, one that saw Reigns break a long-standing record and Rusev snag the United States Championship in the name of Mother Russia.
The following is a look at the highs and lows for each Superstar this past year, as well as what lies ahead in 2015. Wrestlers who are no longer with the company and didn't spend more than a few moments in the ring aren't included.
That means that CM Punk, Undertaker, Christian, Alberto Del Rio and Darren Young are left out of the discussion. That also goes for the Divas, who will be covered elsewhere.
With one eye on the future and one on the recent past, let's begin with the man who hails from Musha Cay, Bahamas: Adam Rose.
